Responsibilities

As Controller, Darren is involved in all aspects of the firm’s accounting, finance, and tax functions, as well as portfolio performance analysis. He works closely with the various finance, legal and regulatory reporting departments at Wells Fargo, NMP’s majority limited investment partner. Darren also provides this role to Norwest Equity Partners, the firm’s affiliated private equity fund.

Experience

Prior to working at NMP, Darren worked at American Express Financial Advisors as a senior financial analyst. Earlier, he spent five years working at Norwest Bank where he conducted corporate financial planning and analysis performing budgeting and forecasting, as well as various other financial reporting functions within the corporate controller’s division.
