Responsibilities

John joined Norwest Mezzanine Partners in 2008. He is responsible for deal origination, transaction execution, and portfolio management.

Experience

Prior to joining NMP, John spent 10 years at Piper Jaffray & Co. in a variety of senior level roles. Most recently, he was a Managing Director and Head of Financial Sponsors, focused on establishing and developing relationships with private equity firms. Prior to that role he worked as a senior banker within the Middle Market M&A Group, as well as having responsibility for all investment banking activities within the Transportation Equipment & Services industry team. Prior to joining Piper Jaffray, John worked at Norwest Bank (now Wells Fargo) in several capacities, including arranging private placements for companies in a variety of industries and restructuring troubled assets in the bank’s portfolio.
